Description:

From GNIS:
  • Rodger's Crossing:
    • Located in sec 27,T12S,R26E, Mount Diablo Meridian
  •  Rodger's Creek
    • Named for John Rodgers an early stockman in the area.
    • Heads in one of the Geraldine Lakes, flows east-northeast to Crown Creek in Kings Canyon Natoinal Park, 2.9 km (1.8 mi) southwest of Kettle Dome. (US-T121)
    • Rodgers Creek: t 8 9 (stream, 8.9 km (5.5 mi.) 1ong; heads in one of the Geraldine Lakes E of Spanish Mountain at 36°54 '30" N, ll8°52 '50" W, flows ENE to Crown Creek in Kings Canyon National Park 2.9 km (1.8mi.) SW of Kettle Dome; named for John Rodgers an early stockman in the area; Fresno Co., California; 36°55'50" N, 118°48'30" W; USGS map Tehipite dome 1:62,500. Not· Rogers Creek
    • Rodgers Creek and Rodgers Ridge were both named for John Rodgers, an early stockman who owned the Crown Valley area at one time. I believe the spelling Rogers Creek was an edit error on the Tehipite Dome 15* as the field check card lists it as Rodgers Creek and Rodgers Ridge, but the published mpx map has it as Rogers Creek and Rodgers Ridge.  Submitted by James G. Hanchett of the USGS
    • Also called Rogers Creek
  • Rodgers Ridge
    • 14 miles long
