Description:
There are three parts to this Gallery:
- East Building which has more modern art
- West Building which has classical and Impressionistic art
- This is a beautiful building with beautiful art in it. The main entrance
leads you into the Rotunda. This is an area you can just sit and enjoy
for a long time-so beautiful and relaxing is this area.
- Sculpture Garden which is to the west of the West Building
Trips:
- March 21, 2023 - On our walk of the National Mall. We went in for a bit of a break and stayed over an hour examining paintings in the eastern part of the building. Some of Mary Cassatt.
- March 29, 2023-Closed out the Gallery .
