Description:
The real name was Sands Baker, but sometime on the topo and land maps it became Sans Baker. Was a teacher. He married a resident of Squaw valley, Sarah Drake and bought 160 acres. He added till it became a ranch of 2,000 acres, 100 acres cultivated, the rest was stock and timber. He died in 1918. From Oak to Pine to Timberline by Helen and Forest Clingman
