Eaton Flat Apartments
131 N. Fresno Street
I could find very little information. This building has been moved twice. At an unknown date it was moved across the street to 131 N. Fresno Street. Over the years the building had fallen into disrepair and was threatened with removal despite its inclusion on the city's Register of Historical Resources. In the mid '90s, the city of Fresno began to plan a widening of the road and a nearby intersection and purchased the property only to condemn it as unsafe. The local historical community struck a deal with the city to move the building and restore it to its once former glory. It was moved to a lot next to its original location.
The restored building is now owned by the Community Regional Medical Center and is used as offices for the Community Medical Foundation.
