Description:
we drive to Crystal Cave Road to find the old Colony Mill trailhead. The hike from here to Admiration Point and the old ranger station is 5.5 miles round trip, with a loss/gain of about 1100'. This hike goes downhill first, then back uphill. Admiration Point overlooks Marble Falls on the Marble Fork Kaweah river.
