Description:
I came across this ranch because of the Creek Fire. One of the early spot fires started close to this ranch.
Ranch has a tungsten mine on it.
Named after Samuel L Hogue who acquired the ranch in 1910. First European who came to the ranch was Jesse B. Ross in the 1850's. For a history, see the Madera County Historian web site.
