Name, from the GNIS naming form: ...the name MIAMI is used for several features in this area and was started by an early day Florida lawyer who came to build a sawmill and named it after the city of his home state... - February 16, 2022 - Rose, Betty and Gary did a day trip to the lookout.
- November 24, 2022 - Steven, Korra, Sherri and Gary did a short afternoon hike on the Miami Mountain Trail/Road..
- January 23, 2025 - Sherri and Gary walked up Miami Mountain on a nicce sunny January day. Saw a smoke in the distance.
