Description:
H.H. Courtright (1887-1956); in the electrical supply business in Fresno; president of the San Joaquin Light and Power Company. The reservoir was formed by a rockfill dam across Helms Creek, completed in 1958. Before it was flooded, part of the area was named :Sand Meadows. (SiNF).
