Description:
Miramonte Ranch was split into smaller holdings to provide fore better settlement of the area.Miramonte may have been an attempt to Spanishize "montain view" or "look to the mountain." Ethel C Tibbot in 1909 file records with the Post Office to get the name. The original post office was at Miramonte Ranch. From Oak to Pine to Timberline by Helen and Forest Clingman
