Also called Star Wars Canyon. Military planes practice close canyon flights through here. But it is not on a regular schedule and you would need to be lucky to see one.

According to Catholic Online, Father Crowley was a graduate of Holy Cross. He served in Fresno at St John's Cathedral. He arranged for Lou Gehrig and babe Ruth to come to Fresno. In the Owen's Valley, he was instrumental in turning the fortunes of the Valley around by uniting the people to get a better system of water than going to Los Angeles. Crowley Lake is named after him.

• November 14, 2021 - Stopped here for lunch going into Death Valley
• November 19, 2021 - Stopped for lunch after hiking Darwin Falls on the way out of Death Valley.
