Description:

Connemara from Wikpedia:a region on the Atlantic coast of western County Galway, in the west of Ireland. The area has a strong association with traditional Irish culture and contains much of the Connacht Irish-speaking Gaeltacht, which is a key part of the identity of the region and is the largest Gaeltacht in the country.

Connemara National Park from Wikipediaone of eight national parks in Ireland, managed by the National Parks and Wildlife Service. It is located in the northwest of Connemara in County Galway, on the west coast. Contains several of the 12 "Bens" mountains of the area.


Trips:

  • July 22, 2025 - Rachel drove to Connemera National Park. We ate, did a hike up towards Diamond Hill-Andrea and Steven made it to the top.
