Title: January 15, 2023 - Salem
Today is a do nothing day. Andrea, Lawrence and Steven are doing a run at the Cascade Half Marathon-because of the weather, they are doing less than that. Sherri and I mosey out of bed and lounge around. We try to YouTube into church, but they must be having technical difficulties. The runners make it home by 11, a bit wet, having battled the wind. It seemed like an Eddie Rabbit type day, even if it was not night.
Bread Making Instruction
Most of the afternoon was just
rest, talk and reading. Andrea made us all grilled cheese sandwiches
for lunch. Lawrence had gotten a turkey for Christmas from his work.
So this seemed like a good opportunity to have a gathering to devour
it. So he spent much of the afternoon figuring out how to cook the
bird while Andrea made bread. A low-keyed afternoon, definitely. It
was topped off by going for a short walk between raindrops. The
destination was a close by house which has a whole yard full of
rabbits. We enjoyed talking with the owner and she enjoyed showing
off her rabbits.
We decided to forgo our family’s Sunday Zoom call since Rachel was going to have dinner with Joseph, leaving David as being the sole person other than us on the call. Around 7:45 we had our turkey and stuffing with green beans and potato dinner. Pretty good. The meat was nice and moist. After that it was more relaxation time. Lawrence and Andrea did their yoga time with Adriene. Then time for bed
