Description:
This is one of the more haunting memorials in DC. There is a wall made of multi-layered glass which makes to stop and pause. Images seem to float while being superimposed on other images. Well worth going to for that. But even more so for the narrative which the memorial represents-those who are wounded in war, never to be physically and/or mentally fully functioning. Take a moment to think of them.
