The National Japanese American Memorial Foundation has information about the design and meaning of the memorial.
See the Park Service web site for the various inscriptions on the walls.
Inscribed on the wall are names of those who were awarded various medals.
Trips:
- April 2, 2023 - We happened on this memorial by accident. We walked past it and realized what it was and spent about 15 minutes observing and honoring the people who fought in World War II.
